Sunprint Valentine Art Workshop

Join us for a sunprint Valentine art workshop on Tuesday, Feb. 6th at 2 pm!  This class is perfect for homeschool students in elementary school (although any age can join!).  Parents/guardian must accompany each student.  Tickets are $15 per student to cover supplies are non-refundable unless event is cancelled due to weather.  All supplies will be provided.  

A sun print is a photographic printing process that requires sunlight to create an image. It involves placing an object or a negative onto a sheet of photosensitive paper, and then exposing it to sunlight. The areas of the paper that are exposed to the sun will darken, while the areas that are covered by the object or negative will remain light. Once the paper is exposed for a certain amount of time, it is then rinsed with water to stop the exposure and to reveal the final image. Sun prints are a fun and easy way to create unique and interesting images, and they can be used to make art prints, greeting cards, etc.!
